This piece is a contemplation on the term "parasocial relationships," a social science term that seemingly justified my attachments to television characters at the time (I no longer feel justified). A parasocial relationship is the one-way relationship between a fictional character onscreen, and the offscreen viewer. There are things that a television character can do to strengthen this bond (eg. break the fourth wall), but the viewer is typically powerless. This is my solution...

I wrote the soundtrack while at a workshop studying electronic music at Oberlin. It's a duet between an analog synthesizer and a theremin.

This is a manifestation of my childhood dream in which I take a nearly fatal bullet for David Duchovny. The action happens fast, so if you look away you may miss it. The title infers that perhaps there are more fantasies- a distinct possibility, but this is the only one that has been articulated onscreen.
